Affinity Water wanted to encourage Leisure Centre users within a non-domestic environment (weekly footfall 3,600) to use less water.

We adapted our own Zoo in the Loo concepts, originally designed to bring water efficiency into a mainstream retail environment, and applied them to effect behavioural change through a simple educative approach.

We placed four creative executions, printed as a combination of A5 and A4 posters, beside relevant appliances: shower, toilet & washbasin.

Over a six-month period, the posters reduced water consumption by an unprecedented 30%. There was no significant change in footfall year-on-year and no water saving devices were fitted. The Leisure Centre project won the 2015 Water Industry Achievement Awards for Water Resource Management Initiative of the Year.
